Samsung Galaxy S4

The new Samsung Galaxy S4 has received a facelift from its predecessor the Galaxy S3.  The S4 has gained a larger screen size of 5”, and is lighter and thinner than the S3.  The new model comes in two distinct color variations of frosty white and a gun metal finish.   The elongated 5″screen boasts a 1080p HD display that gives a crisp visual on the screen.  The new flavor of Galaxy is running Androids latest OS of 2.2 jelly bean.

This new phone features the new air view movement touch screen.  This feature allows the user to hover over icons.  When the user hovers over any icon, or application the phone automatically generates a preview.  This is a benefit because it keeps the user from having to go back and forth between screens.

Samsung also adopted and applied smart pause capabilities.  Smart pause is an intelligent eye tracking sensor application and it works by watching the movement of your eyes.  For example:  if you’re watching a video on your Samsung phone, and you decide to look away for a brief moment the smart pause application will automatically stop or pause the video because it knows that you aren’t dialed in on the phone, based on the behavioral movement of your eyes.  Pretty cool feature that demonstrates the sophistication of the S4.

Samsung has a self-help app that tracks health statistics.  If you are accustomed to using any pedometer or other third party app to track calories, exercise or other health statistics you can toss them out!  The new Samsung Galaxy phone will give you all the health tracking benefits for free right out of the box.  This saves you from having to receive spam built into downloaded smart phone applications.  This phone is bundled with a lot of cool features and will continue to impress any user.

The new S4 includes an IR blaster that is seeded into the hardware and software of the phone.  You can conveniently use your Samsung  S4 as a TV remote.  It has built in vendor frequencies that you can use to pair with any electronic in your home.  It’s nice to have these frequencies built in because you can also use the new S4 as a controller for RC toys too!

The built in camera in the Galaxy S4 also added extra features.  There are more video, photo modules for you to take advantage.  The more options you have with a camera, the more creative and efficient you can be.  One of the best modules built into the camera is the new eraser.  This option will let you erase elements from the picture.  Perfect mode for eliminating those pesky photo bombers!

The hardware on this smartphone is outstanding with 64GB capability.  The screen resolution is higher than its competitor phones.  It also was built to be a little slimmer.  Bulky phones are not fun and Samsung realized that and engineered a phone that is slim, light wait and doesn’t give up any battery life.
